Corelli 370 series is the best setup for my Schuster laminated bass. They are warm, fairly resonant, and easy to play - probably because they are among the thinnest bass strings available. They die, however, on my Gliga 7/8. I'm currently using Superflexibles, but I'm not sure they're the right setup yet.

: : Hi everybody! I've been playing jazz bass pretty seriously now for about
: : 5 years and am recently becoming serious about classical bass too. I recently
: : put a set of Thomastik Spirocore Weichs on my bass but am not happy with
: : their bowed response. I want strings that sound warm and rich when bowed and
: : still have good sustain for pizz. Are there any good hybrid strings out there that fit this description or should I buy a set for each style?
