: Hello,
: I am wanting to learn upright bass(bluegrass) and was considering a Cremona SB-1.
: Is the tonal quality of these decent?
: What about playability?

I saw one in a local music store recenctly and noticed that black paint on the finger board actually had bubbles in it. I didn't play it, so I can't comment on the sound, but it looked like a pretty tacky instrument. An Engelhardt or Strunel would be a much better choice for a lamintated starter intsrument. They cost a bit more, but the quality difference is substantial.
