: Has anyone ever played or heard of Palatino upright basses? I am looking to buy a starter bass and the Palatino ,Cermoena, englehardt,Srunal, fit my budget. I have been playing the electric bass for 16 years. also do any of these basses have a slimmer neck? I am use to playing fender jazz bass. Thanks.

ARE YOU NUTS?! IF YOU HAVE ANY REGARD FOR QUALITY, YOU SHOULD NOT EVEN THINK
ABOUT BUYING A PALATINO!!! NO PARROTS, EITHER!!! I AM BORROWING A MEEMPHIS CITY
SCHOOLS-OWNED BASS(I don't know who made it) THAT SOUNDS LIKE A CAR RAN OVER IT
AND IT SOUNDS BETTER THAN ANY PALATINO!!!
