: : Has anyone ever played or heard of Palatino upright basses? I am looking to buy a starter bass and the Palatino ,Cermoena, englehardt,Srunal, fit my budget. I have been playing the electric bass for 16 years. also do any of these basses have a slimmer neck? I am use to playing fender jazz bass. Thanks.

: ARE YOU NUTS?! IF YOU HAVE ANY REGARD FOR QUALITY, YOU SHOULD NOT EVEN THINK

: ABOUT BUYING A PALATINO!!! NO PARROTS, EITHER!!! I AM BORROWING A MEEMPHIS CITY

: SCHOOLS-OWNED BASS(I don't know who made it) THAT SOUNDS LIKE A CAR RAN OVER IT

: AND IT SOUNDS BETTER THAN ANY PALATINO!!! Hay. I did end up buying Palatino bass its not so bad. the finger board is ebony. I did look and play some other used basses like a kay that I thought sounded like shit and looked like hell the price was three times the Palatino. I had to do some ajusting of the bridge, nut and new strings. I am statisfied with it. Oh ya so why are you playing a schooll owend piece of trash for anyway. ben..
