: I need a way to learn my notes on the string bass sound board so I can practice scales and pattern. I have a string bass and I want learn some basics keys so I can begin play others. People need passists.
If you ahevn't had any luck try this: You know what each open string is? E, A, D, G from the bottom. And I presume you have access to a piano. Start with the note E on a piano, and notice that an E# is an F. So the first note up on the fiungerboard from the bottom is an F. Place the first finger there, stretch about as far as you can, place your second finger and you have an F#, place the third finger next to that one for support, stretch with your 4th and you have a G etc.
