They were not for me. The low tension was nice, the multi-colored windings took some getting used to. The pizz sound was pretty good, but the arco sound was somewhat grainy. I thought they bowed about like Spirocore Weichs, and were not as good a pizz string. Overall I guess I expected a lot more since they cost almost 3 times most other strings I have used. I use Helicore medium orchestrals for arco, and have one bass set up with Sprirocore Weichs for jazz. Try the Innovation strings if you like low tension. I liked them much better and they cost less than half the price.
