It's a 3/4 size bass that's thin and of carved construction I believe with sound post, bass bar, etc. I'm sure it doesn't project as a standard upright does, but it does still project. I think it more of a Jazz style instrument and targeted to that market as it comes with a pickup and an bridge with metal adjusters.
