: : Is there a glue that is available on the market that will adhere to the fishman and is flexiable enough to undo?

: Geez, what for? Yer NOT gonna glue it to your bridge, right? Cause part of what makes it work is the compression by the clamps to the bridge...

Ed: As they say in the Hertz commercial, "not exactly". Fishman admits that the clamps cause some "muting of the instrument's acoustic tone". This is in their "BP -100 Performance Enhancement" directions which is a package you can get from Fishman containing film adhesive strips for gluing the pickup to the bridge. Denny: To get the info directly from Fishman, call them at 508-988-9665. Be forewarned that if you ever expect to have to play in the direct sun (the worst thing for a bass that you can do), the glue strips can melt. Frankly, when you take into account the limitations of the pickup and the amp, and the frequently awful acoustic environments, I consider the alleged muting to be much ado about nothing. The clips allow me more flexibility.
