Share your wisdom.

I have an interesting problem with Thump. I've noticed that I get an unpitched thump
in the attack of each pizzacato note. Sounds like a bluegrass Kay,
but not acceptable for jazz. I'm using an Underwood pickup and if I go straight
into the amp, its there. If I patch through the EQ its still there but not as much.

Question,A) is the Thump a result of a too thick bridge?
B)Too deep a string notch?
C)Poor sound post placement?
D) Dead strings (less than a year old D'Darios)?
