: I have seen the Mark Rubin tape and it is very good. What I am looking for is some Rockabilly music on CD
: that has "upright bass" in it. Alot of the music I have found so far has electric bass, which is O.k. but nothing
: compares to a good thumpin "Dog House".

There are a lot of independent releases out there-- Lance of the Hillbilly Hellcats, who was one of the first to use the Rockabilly pickup system I developed, sent me three of his CDs. He's one hell of a slapper/rocker and their stuff is quite good and fun. There's a link to his site on my Links site, where you can probably order. There is also a link to a page with bunch of URB players (mostly European) than Pleun put together (another K&K user) that may put you on to some more. There is a newsgroup for Rockabilly music-- if your ISP doesn't provide access, you can get to it via www.remarq.com or www.deja.com -- floating a message there will probably get you some good recommendations, too.

Enjoy, Bob
