: Well, I'm going on a trip to China in a few weeks and I wanted to keep playing bass while I was out there. So the first solution that came to my head was to get an acoustic. While shopping I leaned that the majority of acoustics arried by stores are over $900. And when I come back from my trip, I might not even USE the acoustic that often. So I'm having a thought:

: WHAT WOULD BE SOME REASONS TO BUY AN ACOUSTICS BASS AS APOSSED TO USING THE MONEY TO BUY ANOTHER ELECTRIC? WHAT ARE OTHER GOOD REASONS FOR HAVING AN ACOUSTIC BESIDES TRAVEL? HOW DO I KNOW I JUST WON'T DROP IT IN A MONTH?

: Sincerely,
: Adrian Ma

My wife just bought me an acoustic 5-string (bless her) after years of me playing only electric. I thought I'd usually use the acoustic for practice. It turns out that the tone of the acoustic complements the sound of our band in a different, but equally effective way as the electric. I'm drooling for opportunities to play the electric.
