: Hi,
: I am interested in D'Addario Heliocore Pizzicato Strings and am trying to determine which ones to try. Are the "Light" strings equivalent in gage/tension/feel to Thomastik Spirocore Light (purple scroll end Weichs)and are the "Med." ones similar to Thom.Spirocore Med.(red at scroll end)??
: Which Heliocore string is blue at the scroll end?

You're saying scroll end when you should be saying tail piece end. Helicores have a different color for E,A,D,G at the scroll end. They use blue windings at the tail piece end for their arco strings; hybrids are green, pizz are red. Helicore strings, both light and medium, have lower tension than the comparable Tomastik, but it becomes a matter of splitting hairs.
