: Hello,
: i'm sure you all have gotten this question a thousand times, but i couldn't find one on the board. I've searched all over the internet to try and find information on a good but inexpensive bass. I've been playing drums for about 10 years and i picked up the electric bass a couple years ago, but i want to pick up the upright bass. does anyone know what kind or where to get a fairly good but really inexpensive upright bass? is there something around or under $600? or am i just simply out of luck?

: thanks!
: $600?HaHaHaHaHa--sorry..OK, you may be able to pick up a Palatino for $650-750, or check out Ebay, I saw a Kay there for $400, but it needs some work.
You might want to look into an Electric Upright also. Fair Warning, You can't automatically play Upright Just because you have been playing Electric. They are
two different animals, and playing Upright does take some commitment.
