: I'm buying a 2xbass for a bus road tour. Of course a carved top is more fragile than laminated. What are some good
: precautions? Is it simply a bad idea to bounce a carved top around a bus' belly? Is a flight case necessary? Will you sell me yours cheap?

A Bus tour...ooh!ouch! I did my share of bus tours when I was in Europe. Is a
flight case neccesary? No, but if you don't want to worry about every single bump, it is a good Idea to preserve your peace of mind. Can you use a separate
Compartment for the Bass? What Kind of bus is it? How many people are travelling? You could put your bass in one of the seats, yes? Do you have a well-padded Bass Bag?You can also stuff towels under the fingerboard and tailpiece
for extra padding.Reunion Blues Makes about the best bass Bag I have seen. It is the closest thing to a hard Case. And sorry, I'm not selling mine.
