: Hello,

: Can somebody tell me if Jargar strings are good for blues etc.
: Are there different types of Jargar strings?
: I've heared a bit from Jargar strings but I do not know how they sound

Depends on what you're looking for.
There is only one kind of Jargar bass string, but they're available in three gauges; Dolce (Green), Medium (Blue) and Forte (Red).
They are the most gut-like sounding steel bass strings I know, so don't expect long sustain nor growl from them.
But if you're looking for a very warm, mild tone with sharp edges, you'll love them!
